It is located roughly 5 hours from Vancouver and 6 hours from Calgary. Guests can rent both cabins as well as park an RV or pitch a tent. Cedar Grove Nature Retreat is the perfect spot for a group gathering or family reunion. Cedar Grove features two newly completed custom built post and beam lakeshore cabins, and three RV and tent sites. Each cabin is situated just foot steps from the lakes edge. Both are of high quality construction and incorporate comfort with the natural beauty of White Lake and the surrounding area. We have maintained a natural setting so you may come and enjoy nature at its finest. Bring your binoculars, as the lake is home to the common loon, otter, blue heron, painted turtle, sandhill crane and numerous ducks and song birds. We are open year round as the area has so much to offer in all four seasons such as hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, bird watching, ice fishing, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, and skating. Sit on your private covered deck with your morning coffee and enjoy the sunrise. Paddle out to the swimming dock on a hot summer day to cool off. Star gaze in the evening by a crackling camp fire, as you listen to the lonely call of loons. There is room for small fishing boats, canoes and kayaks on the wharf.
