Perched on a cliff overlooking Kootenay Lake this ideal retreat is perfect for 1 or 2 couples or small family. Spectacular views north & south of the lake and Selkirk mountains. Open planned lofted, log cabin built in 1999. Two storey windows ensure a lakeview from almost every room. Watch the Bald eagles, loons, fish hawks etc. Located on the east side of Kootenay Lake at Gray Creek. (south of Crawford Bay ferry landing)
Mainfloor master w/Queen log bed. Bathroom with claw foot bath tub/shower to soak in after a game of golf. Kokanee Springs Golf Course just a short drive away! Spacious loft with Queen log bed and private deck. Additional DBL bed. All log furniture complete the rustic look. Meet the two bears! Living room w/Jotul wood stove, TV/VCR with satellite dish. No phone. Electric base board heat. Ceiling fan.
Kitchen has all appliances : stove/oven, fridge, sep. freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle. All cookware, dishes, glasses, cutlery, and utensils. Bedroom comforter and pillows provided. Please bring your own: sheets and towels, CD player, CDs, games, beach towels etc.
Clothesline only.
Enjoy sun tanning & sunsets on the spacious deck with BBQ. Very private!
Cabin is located on a private road ( no traffic) with other log homes/cabins. SHARED areas include: sauna, boat launch, sundecks, picnic shelter, playground, garbage containers. Quiet rules apply no noise after 11PM. Please no visitors to respect our neighbours. No camping. Call regarding our pet policy.
Locally- golf, boating, fishing, restaurants, bar, groceries, boat rentals/tours, fresh vege market, massage/spa, artisan shops: glass blower, metal, broom maker, beads. Take a free ferry ride and visit Nelson and the Ainsworth Hot Springs! Additional golf courses too.
Due to the cliff location the cabin is not suitable for young children. Water is deep at edge.
Strict NO SMOKING policy!
Maximum occupancy is 4 people. Check in Saturday 4 PM/ check out Saturday 11 AM.
RATES
$1450 - Open Spring until Fall
$500 - due at booking, balance due 45 days prior to arrival date
$500 - refundable damage deposit required
$250 - cleaning fee if cabin & property left untidy
All garbage (& food from fridge) is to be removed

Cancellations: No refund of deposit after 45 days prior to rental, unless another renter can be booked.
Driving directions: from Creston BC - follow HWY 3A ( sign for Ferry to Balfour) north along the Kootenay Lake to Gray Creek. Cabin is at the south end of Gray Creek. Additional directions supplied with deposit.
